We are visiting Azerbaijan again. Due to the country's natural beauty and incredibly friendly residents, we made the decision to visit Azerbaijan two years in a row. We were approached by a helpful member of Refresh Holidays as we were exploring the Baku Old City, and they gave us several tour suggestions. The next day, we made the decision to take a tour of Baku. Our tour guide for the entire day was Mr. Agshin. He has a strong command of English and is very patient and informed. We had a large number of young children in our group, so our schedule was flexible. Mr. Agshin did a great job of accommodating all the adjustments and even made some recommendations for places to see. Overall, the trip was enjoyable.

A wonderful six-night stay. The island is tiny and lovely, with a wonderful reef and lovely beach. The personnel, though, is what actually makes this place. We were fortunate to have Shareef as our waiter who could not have done more for us and Nishal who kept our room immaculate, but everyone, even the bar staff and management, was so kind and friendly, always willing to chat and crack a joke. Another element that contributed to our enjoyment of the trip was the superb house band, a duo of talented musicians who perform five evenings a week between pre-dinner drinks and well into the night. There is another pub at the opposite end of the island if that isn't your style.

We reserved a one-day private excursion through Azerbaijan Travel, and we thoroughly enjoyed the journey. They make sure to be at each venue on time and are quite prompt. All the information regarding the trip and Azerbaijan was provided by guide Nermin. She interacted with us in a kind and cordial manner and assisted us with taking shots. The food was excellent, and the cable car and other activities were wonderful. On schedule, we returned to the motel. Excellent vehicle and driver!!
