The weather is hot and tropical, with average highs consistently between 29°C and 31°C and average lows infrequently dropping below 24°C. We are visiting Meeru for the first time, but it won't be the last. The island was absolutely beautiful, and we received excellent care. The Jacuzzi Water Bungalow All Inclusive, where we stayed, was wonderful. The housekeeping workers did a fantastic job keeping the place spotless. The mini bar's fantastic selection, which included the munchies, was a nice touch. From the moment we arrived, everything was incredibly clean and incredibly roomy. Even though my spouse is fairly picky, he always found something he liked among the variety of cuisines and the various themes that were there. genuinely outstanding resort. Amazing scenery, a house reef right there so you can snorkel literally steps from your lodging (we stayed in a beach villa), delicious food with a huge variety every night, brilliant service, everything ran smoothly, and staff were very polite. There are also plenty of activities (we played golf, kayaking, table tennis, snooker, giant chess, and it's amazing how much they fit onto a small island! ), and as an added bonus, it's relatively close to Male (a c.50 min boat ride away, much better than some of the other islands which require several hours by sea plane after an already long journey from the UK). For two weeks, we stayed at Meeru Resort, and it was fantastic. We rented a jacuzzi villa with a great sunset view that was only about five metres from the beach (you had access to your own beach chairs). The accommodations were cosy and spotless, and we certainly advise selecting the jacuzzi option! You have a choice of doing one of the daily free organised snorkelling expeditions or doing it on your own from the beach. It was simply magnificent to see six stingrays and hundreds of fish right from the beach. Additionally, we enjoyed sailing a catamaran.
