Very nice! Excellent destination for beachgoers and those who enjoy the outdoors. There are few stores. If you like water, are not a vegetarian, and drink (boozzz), go! Veg. can endure. There aren't many locations to go sightseeing. The sea, the surroundings, and sipping a cocktail must be felt at the location. Visit Flic n Flac in the west and Grand Bei (bay) in the north. Without these two, a vacation to Mau is incomplete. Choose lodging nearby (north or west). Hotels in the south are excellent as well, although the commute is lengthy.
